Getting There & Around
Airport

The nearest airports are Palermo and Trapani. While you can store your bike box at the luggage deposit at Trapani airport, there is no such possibility at Palermo airport.

Train

The nearest railway station is Castelvetrano or Agrigento, but the only train connection that allows you to carry your bike on board is the regional train to Agrigento. Bikes are allowed on board for free, limited space (usually up to 2 bikes per train). Check the timetable on www.trenitalia.com

Bus

The public bus line Autolinee Gallo connects Palermo to Sciacca (bikes can be transported on request provided there is enough space in the luggage compartment, we recommend asking at the ticket office before planning your trip).

Ferry

The nearest ferry ports are Porto Empedocle near Agrigento (approx. 60 km) and Palermo (approx. 110 km). Connection from Porto Empedocle to Lampedusa. Connections from Palermo to Naples, Salerno (Amalfi Coast), Civitavecchia (Rome), Genua, Livorno (Tuscany) and Cagliari (Sardinia). Find the best ferry links and tickets on Ok-ferry.com
